The 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex will feature a unique and attractive layout for the approximately 350 skaters expected to compete. All events will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex with Practice ice for the athletes adjacent to the Competition ice. The 2011 U.S. Championships were the first in the almost 100-year history of the event to hold the three major championship elements—Competition, Practice, and FanFest—in one building, under one roof. This highly convenient venue configuration drew rave reviews from athletes and fans alike and will be repeated, and improved upon, in 2015!
Thanks to stellar spectator support, the most convenient venue set-up (Competition, Practice, and FanFest all under one roof), wonderful and numerous volunteers, and a generous serving of Southern hospitality; the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, NC has been selected by U.S. Figure Skating to serve again as the 2015 host.
The 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Championships FanFest will be held adjacent to the practice and competition sites. At FanFest you will be able to see skating demonstrations, get competitor and alumni autographs, enjoy a snack or meal, and take part in a variety of fun skating-themed activities.
