We know how important nutrition is to a swimmer’s success! Two of Greensboro’s best restaurants are adjacent to the Proximity and O.Henry. Swimmers, coaches and families can experience extraordinary dining without leaving the hotel.
Print Works Bistro
Print Works Bistro, adjacent to Proximity Hotel, uses fresh local ingredients to create extraordinary flavors and creative comfort foods. Enjoy traditional and modern versions of classic dishes popular in European-French bistros for a pre-competition breakfast, lunch and dinner. The vibrant dining room has walls of windows overlooking the gardens, with outdoor dining on a lovely creekside terrace.
Green Valley Grill
Visit Green Valley Grill, adjacent to the O.Henry Hotel, and enjoy informally elegant fine dining and seasonal food using old-world European culinary sensibilities and Mediterranean flavors. Eights of us went to the restaurant after a college conference swim meet. We kept having to change our reservation and the staff was very accommodating for us. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed after being at a swim meet for 3 days! Very relaxing. Wait staff was very nice and efficient. Had apps and variety of entrees from salmon, specials, scallops and prime rib. All enjoyed and would go again. We all wished the restaurant was in our home town.

About the Greensboro Aquatic Center
in 2011, the Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) emerged as one of the top aquatic facilities in the nation. In 2019, GAC finished a 27,000-square-foot addition which provided 19 additional lanes, making the Greensboro Aquatic Center the largest facility of its kind in the country.
The GAC’s impressive national swim meet resume includes numerous NCAA, ACC, YMCA and USA Diving competitions. According to the Greensboro Convention & Visitors Bureau, the estimated economic impact of GAC events exceeds $224 million.

All pools feature pressure regenerative filters. State-of-the-art ultraviolet water treatment are also integrated with the filtration system. All pools feature high quality stainless steel re-circulating gutters.
