Acclaimed, award-winning artist Jason Isbell has announced tour dates in Fall 2016, including a show at White Oak Amphitheatre on Saturday, Oct. 15. The shows are in support of the recent release of Something More Than Free, his highly anticipated fifth album (Southeastern Records), for which Isbell recently won the Grammy Award for “Best Americana Album”. Isbell also won the Grammy for “Best Americana/Roots Song” for ’24 Frames’, the first single from the album. Isbell will be touring with his band The 400 Unit, featuring Derry Deborja (Keys), Chad Gamble (drums), Jimbo Hart (bass) and Sadler Vaden (guitar).
Something More Than Free is Isbell’s most sonically diverse album to date. It features Isbell’s Southern inspired vignettes of working class men, women and traditions that permeate 11 new songs of pure honestly and authenticity.

Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions 2016

Three-time World all-around champion Simone Biles of Spring, Texas/World Champions Centre, 2012 Olympic team and all-around champion Gabby Douglas of Virginia Beach, Va./Buckeye Gymnastics, 2012 Olympic team and floor exercise champion Aly Raisman of Needham, Mass./Brestyan’s American Gymnastics, 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin, and 2012 Olympic team gold-medalist Jordyn Wieber headline the cast of the Tour.

The 2016 Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions cast will also include members of the both 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Teams.

Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017

The “Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017” elebrates the 10thanniversary of the record-breaking “Soul2Soul II” tour, the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, and the first time Faith Hill has toured since 2007. McGraw and Hill have been dominating the music charts since the early ‘90s. They began touring together in 2000 in their record-breaking “Soul2Soul” tour, becoming that year’s top grossing and most successful U.S. tour. Their success continued in 2006-2007 when “Soul2Soul II” returned to the road, which was the most attended tour of the year in any musical genre and remains the highest grossing multi-year North American tour in country music history.

NC State GAC Invitational

November 17-19  | Greensboro Aquatic Center 

NC State men’s swimming and diving program has risen to the No. 1 spot in the NCAA by topping the latest (Nov. 9) College Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll. The Wolfpack’s women’s swimming and diving team is currently ranked No. 6. Competing teams at the NC State GAC Invitational will also include Duke University (men & women), Marshall University (women), Notre Dame University (men & women), United States Air Force Academy (men) University of Miami (women), University of North Carolina (men & women), University of Tennessee (Men & Women) and West Virginia University (men & women).

State Games of North Carolina Championships

The Powerade State Games are North Carolina’s largest multi-sport festival and one of the largest State Games programs in the United States.  The Powerade State Games are hosted by North Carolina Amateur Sports, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has rich history of hosting sporting events dating all the way back to the Mid 80’s including the 1987 US Olympic Festival.  The Powerade State Games of North Carolina combines athletic excellence with quality competition, while giving YOU a chance to win the Gold!

Coliseum Venues

ACC Hall of Champions showcases ACC history through interactive displays, unique institutional exhibits and multi-purpose program space. Highlights include a four-foot, 360-degree, state-of-the-art video globe with a unique, multi-media display of conference highlights, life-size ACC school mascot exhibits that have been a huge hit with younger visitors and an interactive exhibit that lets fans face off in a head-to-head challenge to test their knowledge of ACC sports trivia.

Greensboro Aquatic CenGreensboro Aquatics Centerter is a world-class, state-of-the-art facility with threebbodies of water and a seating capacity of 2,500. The GAC brings together all major aquatic sports – competitive swimming and diving, water polo, synchronized swimming and other unique sports – all in one venue.

White Oak Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue with a seating capacity of over 7,600, including more than 2,000 reserved seats. White Oak Amphitheatre hosts a diverse selection of community programs, music, arts and crafts and festival type events.
