EASTERN MUSIC FESTIVAL
June 25 – July 30, 2022 • Proximity Hotel is delighted to be an Official Hotel of the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro. Each summer, for five glorious weeks, the area is transformed for music enthusiasts of all ages whose tastes range from classical to jazz to bluegrass to rock and everything in between. Concerts and events happen daily.
The internationally recognized Eastern Music Festival will produce over 100 events – everything from Grammy-winning classical soloists with symphony orchestra (three resident orchestras to choose from) – to two chamber series, and including the EMF fringe series.
North Carolina Folk Festival
September 9-11, 2022 • Music and dance traditions from every part of the nation are represented and performed by the country’s very finest traditional artists. A mix of open air and tented areas provide a variety of performance venues ranging from intimate stages to amphitheater size in downtown Greensboro.

Proximity Hotel is just three miles from the Greensboro Coliseum and Special Events Center. In addition to the many world-class concerts and sporting events, the complex includes the Greensboro Aquatic Center, the ACC Hall of Champions and White Oak Amphitheatre.

TRIAD STAGE
A professional, not-for-profit regional theatre, named “one of the best regional theatres in America” by New York’s Drama League, featuring the best and timeliest of classic, contemporary and new theatrical works. Drama and comedy are presented in a 300-seat live performance theatre in Greensboro’s downtown historic district.
CAROLINA THEATRE
First opened in 1927, this restored vaudeville theater serves as one of Greensboro’s principle performing arts centers, showcasing theater, dance, concerts and films. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and located downtown.
COMMUNITY THEATRE OF GREENSBORO
Celebrating 50 years of presenting Broadway plays and musicals, the Community Theatre offers exciting theatrical seasons filled with smash musicals, hilarious comedies and classic dramas. The classic “The Wizard of Oz” has become a fall tradition.

The Triad’s only professional ballet company has been entertaining NC audiences for many years. Performances include fairy tale classics, exciting contemporary works, comedic ballets, the holiday classic, “The Nutcracker” and several smaller performances.
